Description
Correspondence, mostly semi-personal with casual friends and acquaintances. Some with more close friends. Lower volume business discussions that didn't merit their own file might also appear here. There are also some fan letters and the return correspondence from the Heinleins. Some family letters. Christmas and birthday cards and other cards scattered throughout. File is sorted by Alpha on last name of correspondent.
 
Includes some condolence letters from Robert's passing that were not moved to the main "condolences" file.
 
Part 1, 365 pages, continuing similar correspondence. A-C.  Highlights include: Dale Amon re Ron Paul's 1988 candidacy for President as the candidate of the Libertarian Party. Poul Anderson.  Invoicing for accountant services for valuing Robert Heinlein's estate. Chancellor Glen Budrig of the University of Kansas making a bid for an endowment for their science fiction center. Clipping of the obituary of Robert's longtime agent, Lurton Blassingame, from the New York Times, April 13, 1988. John Conlon, Arthur C. Clarke.
 
Part 2, 181 pages, continuing similar correspondence. D-G.  Highlights include:  Sprague de Camp. Art Dula suggesting to former U.N. Ambassador Jean Kirkpatrick that she run for President and offering that "Bob Heinlein" put him up to it. James Gunn, James Gifford, David Gerrold.
